krengbible ("the app," "we," "us") is a bilingual Korean/English Bible reading app. This page explains what information the app collects, how it's used, and how to reach us.
If you create an account (email and password), we collect:
This content is stored in our database (Firebase/Firestore, operated by Google) under your account, and is not visible to other users or shared with anyone.
If you don't create an account, the app still stores your reading progress, highlights, and settings — but only locally on your device, never sent anywhere.
The app uses Firebase Analytics (Google) to understand how the app is used — which screens are viewed and which features are used — so we can improve it. This is first-party analytics about app usage only: it is not used to track you across other companies' apps or websites, and no advertising identifier is collected. Analytics data is not linked to your name or email address.
The app relies on a small number of services to function:
Some devotional reflections and section-heading translations in the app are generated using Anthropic's Claude API from Bible text alone — no personal or account information is sent to this service.
Your synced data is kept as long as your account exists. You can permanently delete your account and its synced data at any time from within the app: Settings → Delete Account. If you'd rather we do it for you, email the address below.
The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
